Growing up in Contra Costa County, I have always been passionate about working. As an entrepreneur from a young age, I have explored various industries over the past 40 years, including owning a car dealership and then a national moving and storage company. After selling the moving company in 2006, I wanted to shift away from the responsibilities of managing numerous employees, so I spent the next few years developing a large ranch in Mendocino County, which I had purchased while still living in the East Bay with my family. I thoroughly enjoyed my time in the hills, recognizing that a career in real estate would be a natural progression for me. Over the next 17 years, I have become one of the most active brokers in the North and East Bay regions, selling various types of properties and homes.
In 2024, I helped form the Sikes Team, which includes three like-minded agents specializing in selling ranches, luxury properties, vineyards, and single-family and multi-family homes. The team’s track record includes selling over 1,100 homes and 35,000 acres, with 75 years of combined experience.
Most of my family—my children and grandchildren—live nearby, so we often spend our free time together. For the past 50 years, we have considered the Bay Area and North Bay our home, having previously owned vacation properties at Lake Berryessa and Geyserville. Currently, we own a ranch near Calistoga and a home in the East Bay, close to the water. These properties are not just our homes and investments but a testament to our deep connection to this community.
